In Islam, Prophet Isa (A.S.), known as Jesus in English, is one of the greatest prophets sent by Allah. Muslims respect and love him deeply. Believing in Isa (A.S.) is an important part of Islamic faith. The Holy Quran mentions his name many times and describes his life, miracles, and message in detail.

Prophet Isa (A.S.) was born to Maryam (Mary), who is considered one of the most honourable and pure women in Islam. His birth was a miracle because he was born without a father. Allah created him by His command, showing His unlimited power. Muslims believe that just as Allah created Adam (A.S.) without parents, He also created Isa (A.S.) without a father.

One of the amazing miracles of Prophet Isa (A.S.) happened shortly after his birth. While he was still a baby, he spoke to the people to defend his mother and declared that he was a servant and prophet of Allah. This miracle proved his special status from the very beginning of his life.

Islam teaches that Prophet Isa (A.S.) was not the son of God, but a human being and a messenger chosen by Allah. His mission was to guide the people of Bani Israel toward the worship of one God. He taught kindness, honesty, forgiveness, and obedience to Allah. Throughout his life, he called people to follow the right path and avoid evil.

Allah gave Prophet Isa (A.S.) many miracles. By Allah’s permission, he healed the blind and the sick, brought dead people back to life, and created a bird from clay that became alive. These miracles were signs for the people so they could believe in his prophethood. However, Islam teaches that these powers came only from Allah, not from Isa (A.S.) himself.

The holy book revealed to Prophet Isa (A.S.) is called the Injil (Gospel). It contained guidance, wisdom, and teachings from Allah. Muslims believe that over time, people changed some parts of the original message. Later, Allah sent the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the final and complete guidance for all humanity.

According to Islam, Prophet Isa (A.S.) was not crucified or killed. Allah saved him and raised him to the heavens. The Quran clearly states that his enemies could not harm him as they planned. Muslims also believe that before the Day of Judgment, Isa (A.S.) will return to the world. He will defeat falsehood, establish justice, and bring peace.

The life of Prophet Isa (A.S.) teaches people many valuable lessons. He was humble, patient, caring, and truthful. He helped the poor, respected others, and always trusted Allah. His character is an example for Muslims and for all people who want to live a good and meaningful life.

Islam honours Prophet Isa (A.S.) as one of the greatest messengers of Allah. His life was full of miracles, wisdom, and compassion. Muslims believe in him, respect him, and follow the message of faith and goodness that he preached. His story reminds humanity about the importance of truth, mercy, and devotion to Allah.
